The 4th Industrial Revolution, or 4IR, is the fourth major industrial era since the initial Industrial Revolution of the 18th century. It can be described as a range of new technologies that are fusing the physical, digital and biological worlds, and impacting all disciplines, economies and industries. Pan IIT Conclave 2017 examines opportunities for India to play the role of a global leader in the 4th Industrial Revolution.

Towards this PanIIT is carrying out a nationwide program to take thought leadership in the digital transformation policies of Government of India with a view to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy.
India: The Global Destination for Higher Education

The objective of this International Conclave is to usher in an atmosphere of Excellence and Quality in our top 5% institutes of higher learning so that they start attracting the best students from all over the world and thus India becomes once again a Global Destination for Higher Learning. One of the Key objective of this conclave is to put in place a joint Task Force of the MHRD & Educational Institutions to achieve this goal.
